We can find a park in every place in this world, even in Pontianak there are a lot of Park, sort of Alun-alun kapuas, Akcaya and many others, one of them is Digeulis Park which located at Jalan Ahmad Yani near Tanjungpura University,
When we visit this place at first time, we may feel that we’re in Forrest, Digeulis park has officially opened since middle of December 2015, The name of Digeulis park derived from Digeulis Monument
There is a reason why it’s called Digeulist park, it cause of Digeulis Park built not far from Digeulist Monument.
Basically, Digeulis park is an achievement city for Pontianak citizen, In Morning until afternoon around 08.00 AM – 05.30 PM we can visit jogging area into forrest, also we can hearing and feel a fresh air from trees. But We can’t visit Jogging area at night.
Digeulis Monument was built since 1987 with purpose to remind Pontianak Heroes. There are another name to Digeulis Park “Tugu Bambu Runcing” and has renovation many times from 2004 until 2015.
